Google issues?

/is probably totally late on this subject or just really uninformed

Google doesn't seem to be working, while the internet is just fine. I can type direct URL's into the search bar, but not generic terms like 'tu tienes cinco elephantes grandes en sus pantalones pequenos' or something. No index/results page shows up.

Are you referring to the problem I have?

I enter stuff into the address bar and it takes 5 minutes to load the page, but normal time to navigate pages on that same site.
