These might might be too powerful and inappropriate for my school :/
-Jetz-:
To name the ones I have on Steam,
Bastion - 863 MB - Pretty great but wouldn't recommend if you need to mute it for school.
Eufloria - 118 MB - Simplest RTS ever. Haven't touched it since I first beat it but I dunno what kinds of games you're in to.
LIMBO - 98 MB - Little replay value, would not recommend...
Terraria - 29 MB - Really fun, though no updates kinda keeps my motivation to play it pretty low.....
Man these recommendations are sucking...
Oh, here's one - Torchlight 2 - 1678 MB - Diablo style dungeon crawler.

Let's check the program files...
Battleships Forever - 25 MB - A 2D space RTS, though it doesn't fit under the standard RTS model with its focus on combat between a small number of complex ships at once, each loaded with their own array of weapons and abilities.
Plants vs Zombies - 28 MB - A really simple cartoonish strategy game, available on Steam.
Team Fortress Arcade - 13 MB - A side-scrolling retro arcade remake of TF2. Plays best in co-op, so get it if you can round up a friend or two to join you.
Tribes 2 - 691 MB - Fun futuristic FPS with some neat mechanics. This was the first game on the Torque Game Engine, which Blockland runs on.
fred da kiko:
DayZ standalone when it comes out.
