not that it would really matter if you did, in a hand to hand fight(and i mean just hand to hand, no armor or anything), the chief would probably win, considering he killed 3 odst's at the age of 16 in hand to hand.

Except that when Chief falls down unharmed Shep has to recharge biotics.
