A bit off topic, but isn't Windows XP still the standard for most computers that are used for business and professional purposes?

pretty much

Windows 8 has large performance improvements. Literally notable FPS improvements in games.
By like, 5 frames, tops.

Not really, maybe on extremely high end hardware Windows 8 has the capacity to run it at a much more efficient rate, but not what most people playing Blockland would be using.

To get feedback on Windows 8. I paid for it shortly after making this topic. Downloading 2GB takes time.

I managed to upgrade to Windows 8 successfully. The process was painstaking, but I still have all of my Windows 7 data on here.

Not anymore that I see, unless they're very frugal and don't want to upgrade.

My entire school has been running on Windows 7 for the past two years now.  Side note, there are literally hundreds of computers on campus.

Irrelevant.
well, you did it in the title. so it's at least partly relevant
