If you could make any add-on you want without a engine change...
Kamutog:
A addon water brick 1x1, one version is infinite and one is finite.
The infinite one will spread out until the water is equalized.
The finite one will go downward and spread into a puddle until mixing with another puddle to make a bigger puddle :D
