he's just trying to scare you

it's 5 years tops and i dont think the fine is nearly as much as that
Really? I thought it topped out at $25,000?

nobody enforces that 17+ thing as long as you aren't obviously like twelve or something

you wont get into any trouble, first amendment

jesus, what am I going to do?
tell your mum everything and get her to call and sort it out

otherwise you'll really be in the stuff

he's just trying to scare you

no. its already been processed. its coming now.

goodbye elecro
you wont be able to pay for your internet anymore it seems

i clicked "Cancel order", does that help?
nah you've still broken the law as far as lying about your age is concerned so the penalties are still applicable

the sooner you get your mum to sort this out, the more likely you'll get off it

no. its already been processed. its coming now.
What do you mean "its"? Obviously they are coming.

Okay, I canceled will my money remain on my card? Also, should I jsut do it again, and this time, put my mom's name in and tell her that I did so she doesn't flip?

you can't cancel. its coming.

You should always make sure you check exactly what you are paying for. GST, shipping, and whatever else. Sometimes companies will also take $1 off your card and then return it, just as a security check.

I wouldn't worry about $0.15.

In New Zealand several years back when our post offices introduced a Visa-based gift card, you could overspend as much as you liked and it'd get billed to the company. They fixed this bug quickly, however it happened.

I imagine if you were to really overspend, the order would have been declined.

Its possible the card has a small overflow allowance. It may be the company that handles the gift cards will later send you a bill for $0.15.

Either way, its no biggy.

are you nuts? that's a great way of getting caught for already having lied about your age

in your situation i'd cut the card in half and throw it in the bin. you don't want them to have any proof
