Author Topic: This is what happens when you go 1,000,000 TUs to the north  (Read 8051 times)

If you don't want to use console commands, an easy way to get there is by keybinding /warp using Nexus' command gui, then make it repeat every millisecond. Look at the horizon and go
Plus the further you go, the worse it gets, lol

Exactly when any coordinate exceeds 999,999 TU. No, not bricks.
i haven't a clue what TU could possibly stand for.
what would i put into the console to teleport right to the edge of the farlands?

1000000

Because TU is torque units. 1 = 1 TU

1 TU = 2 studs

so

2,000,000 1x1's to the north

what's the precise number of bricks over this should begin to occur at?

blok's server doesn't cause player distortions like these.
It's entirely gradual. If you go to 10,000 your items will vibrate in your hand when you move and if you zoom in really far at the ground the textures start to static.

okay, final question i guess;
how do you check your current position? there's probably several ways, i just don't know any of them.

bumping + double post because google and the forum search and rtb add-on listing is providing no information about this, and i'd rather not make a new topic to ask a single question.

is there a console command to check the coordinates of a players position?

Code: [Select]
talk(findclientbyname("Name").player.position);

One of my friends did this, only going down instead of north using a glitch with a rowboat and some commands. The game crashed after one hour.
