If you play TF2, and you seen the Snipers SMG, that little handle thing slides back when you shoot it, and the shells come out. That is a bolt.
or the thing you use to put a bullet in the chamber on a sniper

none of his guns are revolvers or muzzle loaders, so i must assume he's talking about bolt action
