Lack of a track record is grounds (poor grounds, anyway) only for a suspicion of incapability, not conclusion. No one has shown Jeep can't do it but no one has shown he can, either. If he's incapable, he still thought up the ideas for the project, so his capability is irrelevant to the quality of the ideas. You group the entire project as a destined failure without considering that some parts may succeed.
Matter of fact, the simplest ideas (read: the ones not requiring much thought) Jeep listed in the OP are features you proposed over 3 years ago but haven't acted upon. You had 3 years to show any progress on that stuff and are still in the mindset that you will get them done. Are you incapable?
