Author Topic: is there any possible way to force remove/hide crosshairs? using a mod?  (Read 1406 times)

The camera doesn't actually attach to the eyenode in third person, so when you look down you'll see the back of your character's head as it leans forward.
I know this
By limiting the look angles you can prevent seeing your body
although this will cause the player to be limited to there looking it still works, in a way though this is more realistic

The view is a little bit zoomed in and your vertical look angles are a little limited, someone tell me how it is

Hmm this is good, but players can't 3rd person :(

But that is highly unlikely.
I'd gladly do it, then distribute it to any friends who played on the server, because forcing us to use a client mod that cripples our games is a terrible thing to do.

Lord Tony was supposedly working on a playertype that works in third person, with the camera aligned with the gun's ironsights. You could possibly take that and repurpose it to suit your needs.

It would probably only "cripple the game" while on the server, which is hardly crippling.

Still, cutting that part out of the client would be a trivial task and it would be a disadvantage to not do so.

But it would ruin the effect for which his server is aiming.

Some people don't like that effect and it will cause an unbalanced environment.
