Your Server Sucks (and here's why)

nah my servers are pretty good, but thats your opinion. not everyone can cater to every players demands. that is why barking doesn't get you far, because each person has their own idea of whats good and whats not.
i am not trying to usher in some new cause. i'm working on some projects right now. i don't really care what other people host, I don't rely on other peoples servers and i am not currently hosting one of my own.

people pointing out the issues of concepts are exactly what's required to spark change, cause people tend to fix the things they've been made aware are problems. saying is all i really need to do- specifically target people and tell them why they're not doing as well as they could be and how they could do even better. if they do want to do better, they just make the changes and bam, they're riding high off of what is markedly a better idea (unless there's some sort of critical flaw in my logic in which case it is my fault) and i'm happy because the overall quality of blockland's server lineup has gone up by just-that-much.
what do you want me to do, single-handedly commandeer every forgetin' server and redo every idea from the ground up?

except this has been done again and again, and the spark fails to light. if you want this done, maybe people should start actually lighting the fire instead of just talking about it. you don't personally have to go out there making a bunch of servers, but it would be nice if some people actually did.

yeah the problem is probably just overall laziness.
still, there's no real way to cause people to attempt to do things outside of sheer competition

I laughed reading this, how offensive you are towards like every loving player.
And what I kind of thought is how you're barking at everybody who does things wrong, and think you're right.
You didn't specifically say "Yeah you're server sucks because mine is better" but you really took the role of knowing exactly how things should be and in that perception people will see you as the "Right" guy and everyone is "Wrong".
I do have to agree though, the "Blockostrike" "Modern Blockware 3" and anything that includes "Block" get's really loving annoying.
Also, you and your emphasis on weapons. It's almost as if you're saying T+T is the only weapon pack that's should be deemed right, because it's the only weapon pack with useless skins that no one uses. Yes I get you're point, make the same weapon different eye view, but the same functionally. That and you're barking at Blockland, an half unoriginal community that either uses T+T all the time or a mash up of weapons that doesn't even remotely connect.
Again, see your points, but you make it quite one sided towards who's right and who's wrong.

i am explicitly referring to counter strike servers in that first story
i'll probably make it less explicit tomorrow. it was originally aimed toward racerboy and skill's server and decided to post it here because i noticed i put alot of effort into it and there's actually some useful knowledge in there
of course it's one sided, i'm trying to convince people to follow a certain pattern of instead of following the pattern they have been following
that was a great sentence.
it's not even that bottlenecked, either, there's still room for variation; it's just that these particular things are stupid and should be avoided because they simply don't work

There have been a lot of threads lately about how stuffty servers are. Why dont you guys just stop complaining and ACTUALLY make your servers ( and others ) better.
