--- Quote from: ZERØ on September 19, 2015, 03:20:34 AM ---Should I get a Ducky Shine 4 or wait for the 5 to come out? Shine 5 : https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1367 Shine 4 : https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1203 I really want the 5 but I'm not sure if it will come out in white like all the previous ones did, and I really want the 4 just because it comes in white. --- End quote --- i hope you don't eat many messy foods or chips at your computer if you plan to get a white keyboard |

--- Quote from: Mule on September 19, 2015, 02:25:04 AM ---I had the same question Carol replied with this I was Wtf-ing until I did a google search on it. It uses proprietary "Romer-G" switches. Why the forget they wouldnt use a standard on an expensive keyboard only God knows. --- End quote --- To be fair, Romer-G switches are not that bad. Sure it is no cherry switch but has the same tactical feel but less clicky nature to it yet I find it to be a very enjoyable typing experience compared to a lot of keyboards I have tried. --- Quote from: Mule on September 19, 2015, 02:30:56 AM ---But I wouldnt purchase this keyboard because when I look for a mechanical I look for "Cherry MX-Blues" and if I am paying $139.99 for a keyboard, God damnit I want a standard switches. --- End quote --- To be honest, to some like myself, 139.99 is not that expensive. I enjoy the Romer-G's that I tried out at Microcenter first before buying and really enjoyed them versus the cherry switches. But the price tag is interpreted differently by everyone. |

Bit of a weird question, but can anyone recommend an extremely quiet keyboard? |
