so I just tried installing the original Halo on Win7
it claims to have 0 MB of RAM, Java got the message and freaked out

last night it made a loud squeeling noise so its out of action until i can get my test equipment
im going to run a 970 and a 60w processor on a 430w until then
its a silver rated 430w by EVGA so i'm sure it can take it for a little while, i dont have any other peripherals that i plug in besides hdd and a fan
this looks like a loving amazing replacement for my 1000w http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139137
hdd was making a weird noise, games were stuttering and at one point i actually heard the volume on audio go up and down so this squealing noise has pretty much topped it off that its ABSOLUTELY the power supply

Pcpartpicker guesses a build to be 415watts out of the 500w psu im using.
This is before any overclocking i will do.
Is that enough psu?
