Hello computer geeks. I am looking to upgrade my modest rig, and I'm a little torn here. My CPU runs really hot at idle - 80oC - and I want to get a better video card, but cost is a concern for both of those. What should I do to get better graphical performance and keep things cool? I could buy and put in new parts, but I don't know a lick about assembling computers and have no tools save for a few screwdrivers. |

do you use a stock cooler? if so, then get a new air cooler, if you can find one that supports your motherboard/socket type. you can use the leftover funds to get a new graphics card. what's your budget? |

I'm not 100% sure of my budget, but it definitely has to be under $150. |
