I'm horrible with finding good gaming keyboards/mice. Opinions on the above? I'm looking for a gaming keyboard/mouse combo that is still under $40. Not much of a budget but I'm also not looking for super fancy (finally got the right ones up) personally I like the look of the s101 but I'm not sure what the benefits of it over a regular keyboard is

I did more asking around and now my two choices are

I'm also considering replacing my desk but my budget for it is low.

I found this and it's about the same size as my current computer desk. Issue with my current is that the keyboard tray broke and I currently have a 2x4 screwed into the side to support it

Given I get a cheap KB and monitor for like $150 combined (because I don't give a stuff about mech or a fancy monitor), I'm planning on getting the GTX 960, 8GB RAM, 1TB HHD, and 250GB SSD. Some math means I have about $330 for a CPU, PSU, HSF, motherboard, and case. Is this impossible? I might be able to squeeze some extra money in or use a 1336x768 monitor I already own to save $100+ and get a monitor later.

I could also buy a GTX 650TI from a friend for fairly cheap and save a bunch of money there, too.

I elected to try out an LGA 1151 build, for future compatibility. It's amazing what you can get for your money these days:

There's probably some points that can be tweaked to save a few dollars here and there but I think that it's definitely worth going for one of the new Skylake i5's

stuff man, thanks! Turns out the monitor and keyboard won't be factoring in after all since other people needed stuff to give me for Christmas (:P) and I might even get the GPU paid for, so I can probably upgrade the SSD and get 4GB video memory.

Let us know once you get your final budget sorted out and we'll see what we can do.
