Fallout 4 devs recommend an r9 290x 4gb and an FX-9590 4.7 GHz; I'm running maxed settings very well (even with hi-res texture mods enabled) with an r9 380 4gb and an FX‑8320 3.5 GHz. I have 8 gigs of ram and I've peaked at only 88% memory capacity while playing fo4

but hey, if you have the cash and don't mind spending it, go for it, at the least you'll be more future-proof with 16gb

Ok. Well, IDK, I'm just sort of on the lower end of the spectrum for other stuff, so I figured if I can afford a fairly cheap upgrade that will help some I should go for it. Perhaps I'll see how it runs with 8 GB first.

Here's the stuff I bought since I decided to focus on a temperature/noise level upgrade, hopefully I didn't choose poorly:

wireless is a no for me, it only has 1500 dpi compared to the 16k on the mouse i posted, and its way more expensive
i also have a beef with logitech over the hassle they gave me just to get my G13 to work right
