i would go with this
CPU (Processor): http://amzn.to/1fAIuOS
GPU (Graphics): http://amzn.to/1TNfbIJ
Mainboard: http://amzn.to/1gMsTwm
RAM: http://amzn.to/1He07Al
HDD (Hard-Disk): http://amzn.to/1GpL15e
PSU (Power-Supply): http://amzn.to/1GywFi3
Case: http://amzn.to/1Ka4MCv
should hit ultra in most games, sits around $700
i can personally vouch for the graphics card

The last thing you want to do if you're building a midrange rig is to go for the last processor socket generation. Here's a Skylake partslist which allows for future expansion: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Tokthree/saved/kW6WGX

skylake doesn't even offer a big performance difference yet
Bisjac:
1151 is like the same as 1150 so far.
But the price difference was so little, may as well go skylake.
