yea it's pretty exciting. i'll just be on my feet all day with no real breaks for me to go to things like breakout sessions. last conference i went to a computer hardware session and had a nice long chat with the dude after the class and the next day i found out i got a lil award thing bc apparently i left a big impression on him. but yea

Why? Your PC is never going to use more than 75% of its rated power draw and maybe 50-60% when gaming; when you're only doing casual stuff like web browsing you'll be looking at maybe 50W or so. By overspeccing your power supply like that you end up way out of the optimal efficiency band.

i don't really want to drop a bunch of money on this because i also want to get a tank model with my own money.

Nah, there's no need to; you still might want to upgrade though if your current power supply is very old/cheap. You can get a Thermaltake TR2 450W (the new one, not the old sucky one) for $28 after mail-in rebates: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/thermaltake-power-supply-pstr20450npcgusg

Just look if you have an ATX case and it'll fit.

Okay so I remembered I had an old laptop with a broken screen and was thinking to myself. What if I strip this stuff?
So I stripped the HDD and 2 sticks of ram. A 2Gb one and a 1Gb. What else can I strip and where can I store them?

Edit: The 2 gig stick seems to be broken and causes to screen to go loving apestuff
