--- Quote from: Jubel on December 31, 2015, 06:54:56 PM ---Is there a way to check if my CPU temperatures are correct without doing the old fashioned cop-a-feel? I ran my 4690k (not overclocked) and Hyper 212 Evo through cinebench and the temperatures went from 34C to 39C. If anything, I've never seen the temperatures go past 45C, yet I can find people online getting it as hot as 75C with the same cooler. I ask because my motherboard temperature sensors don't work (105 degrees after a cold boot apparently) and am curious if that would botch CPU temps in any way. 5 minutes later it's at 32. I have a hard time believing my CPU is only a few degrees warmer than my room. --- End quote --- my CPU idles at anywhere from 83F to 95F (28C to 35C). you're fine |
