<< < (3484/4060) > >>
ultimamax:
a super generous sponsor of our robotics team bought us parts to build a dope CAD computer. gtx 970, e3-1241 xeon CPU, 16GB ram, SSD and HDD. the works
you can peep it here
we used a 750W power supply but i think that might be too much

does anyone else feel like they completely forgeted up like every time they built a computer? during this build the ram got unseated and fell out onto the table, i touched the mobo and various components on the circuits multiple times

yet i havent broken any parts yet (besides a stuffty $20 fan controller)
Badger:

ultimamax:

how is this? the stuff in grey in the references sheet is just stuff i've had and can reference easier for comparing.

i'd be willing to go AMD if someone can find a quiet AMD processor, which I know the 2 don't go hand in hand. $225 is my limit.
