Alyx Vance:

I've ran stock cooler for like 2-3 years on my AMD, never put on my new thermal paste. %99 sure my cooler isn't fused to my CPU

Either they have used the most unknown brand of thermal paste, have never rethermal pasted their cpu's, or they have no idea what they are talking about.

I've had thermal paste completely harden and "fuse" onto my cpu before when I was using a default AMD stock cooler, but I'm not sure of the model and I had never reapplied thermal paste at the time (I had been running the rig for 5 years before reapplication so maybe that's why.) But as far as I'm concerned it can definitely happen.

Jerome:

amd's coolers processors are loud as stuff
i mean my friend's build with an fx-8120 sounds like an airplane when you play any games because of it lol, I don't know how you guys can live with one for so long

It's practically the norm to immediately ditch the stock cooler for a 3rd party one. A $25 cooler is better than any stock cooler whether it be intel or amd.
