ask newegg forums or reddit what you should build for the best optimization in your price range, they certainly will not pick an APU

or just wait for someone here to help you

Anthlon is a APU? I thought the anthlon series had no built in GPU.

Regardless its a poor choice, I would rather go with a A8 or A10 if its a budget based build since Socket AM3 is starting to cause bottlenecks.

I'm Running a Trinity Based A8 at 3.8 GHz and it gets me decent performance, GPU is what will be doing more of the work anyways, and thats why I have a GTX 750.

i mistook the athlon as having graphics because of the FM2 socket, my bad

i haven't been up to date on AMD in awhile

Yeah, the Anthlon is a standard CPU, I think its just dual core with HT, but I'm unsure.

Socket AM4 and the new Zen based FX APU's are supposed to be what According to test specs... a true challenge to intel? but it sounds hard to believe seeing how Intel has pretty much beat AMD around like a sand bag.

I'd like to have a Skylake based build but Intel's stuff is pricy for somebody on a budget, the budget users are probably what's keeping AMD afloat.
