espio100:

I basicly have the same except an i5-4430 and 16Gb of ram.
The 960 is a very solid budget gpu.

Additionally I'd want to stick to the skylake family so I could just upgrade the CPU if I needed to without having to replace the motherboard.
Also I'd need a wifi card ( preferably the one in my list since it'd work out of the box with linux ), and keyboard / mouse.

I'm still looking for improvement with memory or storage, or anything that can be replaced for a lower cost.

Trust me when I tell you memory doesn't matter. It doesn't.

Get the crappiest looking, lowest end DDR4 ram (like, 8 gigs) if you still want to move for Skylake.

cool and yeah by the looks of it the card is pretty neat

LeetZero:

My F11 doesn't work in physically any application.
Browser, Windows Image Viewer, Minecraft, anything that would naturally use F11 refuses to work.
I got "Windows Hotkey Explorer", and it tells me dwm.exe is hooked to it. After shutting down the service/process (thus loving up Aero) the hotkey is freed and indeed everything works.

Does anyone have any clue of this weird behavior? Malwarebytes detects nothing in regards to viruses, and looking online - pretty much nobody has this issue.

This is what I came up with, if necessary I'll just drop the HDD, I have some I can use for now.
Will I ever need more than 16 GB of ram?
I might just settle with a two slot motherboard if not.

If it seems like I absolutely have to go with a 960, I'll just go with this build.
