I'd stay away from the FX series because of their weakness compared to Skylake, but in a low budget build the X4 860k with a 960 SC is a great match.

if you want to upgrade to a better processor later then you're going to have to buy a new motherboard anyways so may as well go with the lga1151 socket now with a lower-end skylake processor

Well for editing you probably want more cores
Imo my i5 already takes a damn long time to render stuff

As far as I see they are for gaming. Video editing is going to go p stuff on this.
But you probably want atleast a 80+ bronze PSU (Power supply) and one thats modular because cable management. It doesnt improve peformance nor does it affect heat but its just allot less messy.
Also what case are you getting? Nvm got it
