Why would a major computer hardware manufacturer be offering a high school kid a full scholarship and a job. It's also funny that you're saying you moved up from building computers at some computer store to working at MSI.
I was in Tennessee for a while applying for jobs and they just so happened to be one of them, this was a month and a half ago and I just received the call around a week ago, it shocked me as well.

just got this power supply; real happy

and one more thing - why would someone choose a gtx titan over a 690 when they are the same price? isn't the 690 faster

Because the titan is a single gpu. Also anyone buying either really doesn't give a stuff about price.

its a single gpu, so what? wouldn't you be going for performance, not "being cool for using a single gpu"? Or am I missing something?

That a single gpu scales better. A 690 is pretty much sli and might not run as good on some games. Anyone buying a gtx titan is probably considering buying a second titan.

Nice, I want this kind of opportunity so badly ^^ I recently bought a Z77 MPower for my current build. Such a lovey beast :3

i think this "dream" is pretty overkill for a pc

It must be the cupholders making the price so high
Maybe next time don't have them inlaid with gold

At the radioshack by me they used to have a thing you put in the expansion slot and it had a cupholder. It was the most glorious pc accessory I have ever seen.

It's far far cheaper and far far easier to invest in young talent and pay for their scholarships so that they can work for you at reasonable wage than it is to find some industry veteran and hire him.
New minds will work for you for a long time, will pick up new knowledge that a veteran cannot and won't demand a huge salary, industry veterans are in short supply and also move between businesses constantly as they offer higher and higher salaries just to acquire said veterans expertise, there's no guarantee that said veteran will even work for you for more than a year or so before moving on to another company, a young yet skilled employee is happy to work for you for many years for much much less than a veteran would and you don't have to worry about age-related health concerns hindering their performance, either.

It's called talent scouting, it's a pretty common practice in all facets of business

Is there a safe way to speed up my hard drive? I get complaints when joining games...

Normally they don't come after you in high school. It's pretty common while you're in college. Like I'm looking at a DOD scholarship that comes with a job. But you can only apply for junior and senior year, or grad school. Also what degree is computer technology? Wouldn't it be computer engineering or some other form of engineering. All the experience he has sounds like he built computers for some stuffty local store. On top of all this he just sounds like a liar.

Use Ccleaner and defrag it regularly, a hdd doesn't get any faster than it's speed.

awwww yeah!

i found a DIP socket chip in a computer today. also another processor to add to my collection. the guys heatsink will give me nightmares for days to come, it was basically solid dirt.
