Just how affordable do liquid cooling loops get? (I think not very)

--- Quote from: SpreadsPlague on March 04, 2013, 04:28:32 PM ---you really don't need heavy cooling for a GPU OC. my 580 has a pretty decent OC on just stock cooler. you can set a custom fan profile to make sure things don't get too hot. make sure your case has good airflow. make sure you torture test it (put it under full load) for a while to make sure it's stable. make sure you can't see any artifacts.

my 580 runs about 80C under load so somewhere around there would be fine?

idling at 33C right now

Ok, thanks for the info

Yea, I mean I have $900

but $200 for parents, $50 for woodshop
I also am looking into getting a drumset.

Going to start looking for a spring job. I already have a summer job lined up that pays $10/hour and Ill be working 40 + hours a week. Hopefully will start planning to build one this summer.

well, you need lots of different peices to make a full loop, like the resevoir, pumps, GPU waterblock (mabye cpu waterblock?) tubing, and radiator, i havnt done one of these before, but if you want to feel better about leak testing, you should try to find some non conductive fluid.
Blockzillahead:
A GTX 690 beats a single Titan.

Sli Titan beats Quad Sli GTX 690 (Quad = two cards cuz two gpus in one)
