How much can you tell about my hardware and capabilities of my current PC just by looking at a Dxdiag report file? Just curious because I'm going to upgrade to some stronger parts and Ethan was the one who last showed me parts compatible with my system (I bought them and they work great by the way!)

i like looking at specs using cpu-z, but i'm not sure if dxdiag can show you the specifications of a system.

DxDiag shows cpu, gpu, OS, and ram, but I dunno if it shows anything else. You would need to figure out the wattage for your psu, and you may need to look at your motherboard depending on what needs to be upgraded

Motherboard model, CPU model and frequency, amount of RAM installed, DirectX version, GPU model and GPU memory, and basics like OS and computer name

thats what i got when i just ran it right now
