If he is buying 8gb, why should he buy 2x4gb when he could get 1x8gb for the same, or lower price? I mean the only thing that is different he can add an extra 8gb in a few years. I think 2x4gb makes no sense compared to 1x8gb, but if there are some pros to 2x4gb compared to 1x8gb, let me know |

If you honestly need 8 extra, then go for it. But for gaming purposes, it's unnecessary. |
