so i'd be using my gpu? okay. i still don't really understand bitcoin mining. could i be mining while playing pc games and stuff? or would it take everything i have?

Bitcoins are increasing exponentially in worth. A year ago they were worth around $5 I think? Now they are $40-$45. And yes you would be running it continually and it would take up your whole gpu power so that you couldn't play games. I can still browse and stuff while mining though.
Edit: I'm pretty sure in 1-2 weeks it will go up to $45-50 in price.
