The main things I want a video card to do:
Run Blockland at maximum everything smoothly
Run Battlefield 3 with a smooth FPS on medium settings
Run GTA IV on Medium+ with a smooth FPS.

Ah well, I wasn't planning on getting a new computer soon, more like at the end of the year.

Radeon 7--- series, but not a 7750

what, the 7--- series will run all those, but not a 7750?

the desktop equivalent of the GeForce 670m can do what you're looking for.

The 7770 will do the first two, maybe the third.
A 7750 will run Blockland on max, and BF3 on medium settings, but not GTA on medium with a playable framerate

the best choice would be 7770 or 7850, 7750 would only play bf3 smoothly on lower settings

I use a 7750 non-overclock and get medium - high settings on BF3 with 60 FPS.

Good. It's all together little over $2,000AUD.

I have a feeling you can make it a little bit cheaper but still as good as it is, and perhaps a bit better but its still pretty good right now.
