I'd prefer nothing too far upwards of ~2000. --- End quote --- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834131391 An option, 7870m is incredibly good. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152372 An potentially better option in terms of graphics, downstep in terms of CPU, but it is cheaper and an MSI laptop. --- Quote from: ultimamax on March 23, 2013, 11:16:11 PM ---apu? i'm assuming you mean the processor. what about the gpu? --- End quote --- An APU basically integrates a graphical chip inside of the processor, it's worked very well for budget laptops. That will run Blockland about 30fps medium settings with the GPU on board, it's a 6570 or similar. |

If you're looking to game, you probably won't find a great one for the price. My laptop was around $600 and was amazing for the price. I'd recommend you surf newegg a bunch leading up to when you have the money. Currently, the least expensive but best laptop I could find is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215663 It might go out of stock in a few months, but there will definitely be better laptops out by then. It really varies a lot. |
