I need to know if its decent, if its compatible and if i should use a different case (Or anything else)
main reason im asking is because it comes out to about 318, and thats just really weird because my last alienware laptop costed around 19 hundred, and i dont know if its just the magic of custom building or i left out alot.

get a gigabyte mobo

your right it does, my calculator on my computer messed up so yea, though it doesnt matter much because i have a higher budget then that.

I thought overclocking was a thing to do, not something you get?

Get an i5 3750k.
Get a Gigabyte motherboard.
Then if you have more with your budget, consider a better graphics card. Maybe a better PSU, if you have to.

With intel, if you want to overclock you pay a little extra for an unlocked processor, which has a "k" at the end. Then when you get it, you can overclock.
At least, I think that's how it goes.
