[MEGATHREAD] Personal Computer - Updated builds thanks to Logical Increments

hi
so uh, i recently got an old imac g5 (late 2006) and it has tiger on it, which is a problem since that os doesn't support steam or any other programmes i want to run.
will these specs be enough to run snow leopard?

You will need to upgrade it to at least 2 gb of ram. Also it isn't a G5 mac because it has an intel CPU in it.

well that's a it of a problem, does any ram fit it or does it need to be some kind of special ram?

With macs their desktops use laptop RAM. Find out what clock the RAM is at and if its ddr2 or ddr3.
