Be sure you have a spare SATA cable and an extra SATA power cable port on your PSU. Also I have a question: Is it okay to use two different brands of RAM on the same motherboard? --- End quote --- I have the connections for the PSU, but I do not have another SATA cable. I didn't remember whether those came with hard drives or not. Where would I get another SATA cable? |

If not just go here to look for some. |

These caught my attention: Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148834 Seagate Desktop HDD.15 ST4000DM000 4TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178338 What would I need to install one of them in addition to my existing hard drive, how difficult would it be to work with (e.g. could I move steam games onto the new one and run it just the same), and are there better suggestions? --- End quote --- There are some programs that can automatically transfer everything from one drive to another. A WD Black drive I was looking at a few days ago came with a such program |
