yea, its considered the best of AMD cpu's
but usually people tend to go with Intel's i5's or i7's - those are generally seen to have better performance, but have 4 cores
I too would go with an Intel
if you want to go with an intel, you need to get the new i7-4770k which just came out 4 days ago
if you want to use that cpu, you need an LGA 1150 motherboard

Yes, you can use two different brands. Not sure what the criteria is for different sticks working together, but it might have something to do with the timings instead of the clocks.

My processor is overclocked to 4.2ghz at around 68 degrees on 100% load. That's still on the safe side, right?
