GENTLEMEN. As you all may or may not have heard WWDC was yesterday. Many new things from Apple had been announced and released. iOS7 finally reworked the OS that iPhone/iPad users had been waiting for. They also released a completely indifferent Macbook Air - but also, the new Mac Pro. It looks like this. Now I don't understand what gave them the idea to turn one of their most important assets into a trash bin, but I'm fairly disappointed with their decision here. The original mac pro may have been expensive but it still had something good: customization. With this new R2 unit build it's literally not customizable at all - nor does it have proper cooling functions or will it EVER house the power to keep up with a modern day PC custom build or pre-build. Personally I think Apple is shooting themselves in the foot with this. You guys should talk about this though and discuss what's going on with these guys and how badly Jobs leaving them has affected them. |
