I can't speak for the quality of Ebay but if it's new i don't see why not, I personally wouldn't buy a used processor because I wouldn't want to take the chance of it crapping out. Also both of those processors will work and thermal paste is a must unless you want your processor to repeatedly overheat, I remember when I was new to building computers I added too little and it wouldn't even make it to the desktop before it overheated.

Well if it doesn't work I have 14 days to return it. Ill be sure to buy some thermal paste.

Gonna buy this to replace my Gefroce g100, opinions? I'm not really sure what my budget is for a GPU, but if there's anything better(around $100) feel free to suggest it. Im not looking to play bf3 on max or anything, just something I can play most games on.

Not going for the Ivy-E because the die shrink is barely worth it.

I need the E series due to its 6-core processing power and the fact that I use multi-core utilizing resource-intensive programs at times.
