okay, im picking out a new gpu.

Thoughts? I'm looking for durability and performance under $400.
i have that exsact same card and its really good other then the coil whine temps are good overclocks easly looks good othere then the blue PCB but other then the coil whine (only happens at like 150+ fps at max settings like minecraft like 300+fps with 256x texture pack)

everything shares one heatsink

everything shares one fan
Yes, how viable that is remains to be seen. According to the website, every detail of the fan down to the exact shade of "generic charcoal black #156" it's painted with has been hand-picked and carefully selected to provide the best possible performance.

Also: I just want to distinguish, the only original thing apple did was actually make the case. They took top end components from other independent manufacturers, none of the components were made custom to fit the new shape. The true test is to see how many thousands of dollars you can save if you build a comparable PC yourself

Mega you need to stop making mountains out of mole hills. Calm  down already.

Snot showed me this link earlier: http://datacent.com/hard_drive_sounds.php

I thought it wasn't doing those, but I opened my case and listened, and it is making the first Seagate sound. I disconnected it from the power and motherboard and am going to order another drive, have it put it by the computer place that has been helping me with hardware.

Edit: So this drive? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236407 And what can I do with the current drive besides just have them transfer whatever I put on it. How could I get my money back on it after the transfer?

Don't worry about the graphics; update everything else. That processor would bottleneck any modern card.

well, is there at least any cards that are more decent than an ATI Radeon HD 2400 pro that would work with it? I don't want to replace the CPU.
