i would suggest something like an fx-6300, but its pretty evident that you're not an amd fan.
yeah

I want an i5. I'm done with AMD.

I wonder, does Nvidia or AMD graphics work better for Blockland?

I had a 7770 that ran Blockland 60 fps 1080p no problem at max settings, even with the bricks being near 250,000 in an unlimited mining server

I'm pretty sure your card is a stuff ton better than my old one, so it must be your CPU

don't buy that 5900 rpm HDD, get something faster

Get a slightly nicer motherboard that's SLI compatible, cause you'll have the space and power to do so.

Other than that, I don't see anything wrong with it

Edit: the motherboard pictures right above your post is the same one you plan to buy

Ok! How's this?

This any good for my Nvidia GTX Geforce 760?

(Just trying to save $40 if I can...)

The SuperNOVA series is notoriously bad, however the G2 series from EVGA is a huge improvement and one of their best PSUs ever.

That'll work fine
thoughts?
Stretch for a FX6300 if you can, you'll be happier with yourself if you do. Its only $100.

Would an fx 4300 bottleneck an r9 290?

Yes. Overclocking will help, but you won't get the full performance out of it. You'll probably lose out on quite a bit of potential performance

so what processor would not bottleneck it?

dang, and to the think I had a 7770 before the R9 270.

The 6300 bottlenecks it so the next best choice would be the 8320

well stuff

well stuff
If you really can't afford it/don't want to upgrade to the 8320, overclocking the 6300 would probably work a lot better.

Push it pretty much as far as you can

^ this. Also, get a better CPU cooler, preferrably a 212 EVO. It's only $10 more than the TX3 and a much better cooler.

is this slow for SSD speeds?
