You can, but anyone else who is using that playertype will also get the speed increase.

replaced gross socks model with the standard foot, disabled the image change on the player entirely, and raised the particle effect's lifetime because it looks cool, and i figure if you're going to be really fast one fallback should be that everyone can see where you are going
the square particles are just a server mod of mine that replaces the cloud effect with the blank image, disregard it
(i don't know why my framerate got so low ;-;)

Request: Could you make it play the Yoshi's Island athletic theme when you put them on and use it? And a rtb pref for the sock model or a white foot?

The thing about the default foot is that it makes the add-on look like it had less effort put into it. The current sock model just needs to be smaller and have a non-rounded heel, rather a boxy one that looks more like it fits on the default foot.
