--- Quote from: Subpixel on January 08, 2013, 06:19:43 PM ---I decided to put this up because the newest modpacks aren't really coming equipped with OptiFine, and for some users OptiFine is a must-have to play the game. This same process will work for most other mods for playing singleplayer, but remember,
Never install anything to the minecraft.jar itself!
TUTORIAL:
1:
Get the right version of OptiFine at optifine.net
For Technic/Tekkit Lite/Feed-the-beast Direwolf20 get the latest 1.4.6 version.
2:
Go to your launcher folder, (%AppData%\.techniclauncher or %AppData\ftblauncher)
and select the right modpack (Direwolf20, TekkitLite, TechnicSSP, etc.)
Next open the \bin folder and open modpack.jar.
Make sure to open modpack.jar, not minecraft.jar!
Next, simply drag the contents of OptiFine into the modpack folder.
Remember not to delete META-INF!

The Corporation:
Guys, have you been crashing from GUI errors and whatnot?
Project table is borked in that it won't organize stuff, when you click the ? for a recipie, it's shifted the ghost materials over to the left by one, and that if you mess with the inventory too much on anything, the whole thing crashes.

Spitfire really stuff up this thread.
I talked to my hosting service about using a minecraft lite server and they said that the server .jar didn't work. I tried to install the server for it on my computer and it didn't work either. Anyone else have this problem.

Nope, I ran a Tekkit Lite server fine.
