EarthBound - This thread stinks.

I recently finished EarthBound and I've started Mother 3, but I haven't been playing it much.

"Mother" is the name of the series and the first name in Japan, which was named "EarthBound Zero" outside of Japan, even though I think that name is stupid and it should always be called "Mother".
"EarthBound" is the name of the 2nd game of the series, as it was named outside of Japan, which I think is better than what they called it in Japan, which is just simply "Mother 2".

It's because EarthBound is the only game in the series that was released outside of Japan, but only in the US.

Everyone that knows of this game always complains that Nintendo North America always ignores this series.
They don't ignore the series, if it was more successful in it's time, it would have at least been put on virtual console.
If I remember correctly, earthbound was extremely unknown around the time of it's release.
