This is a stupid question I know.
How do you make it hurt you?
I turn on lava.
I jump in lava.
I don't die.
I tested this while in a mini-game as well.

I could use this knowledge quickly.

There is a enviroment called Harmless lava & Harmless water.
Just download that and TADA! The lava won't kill you!

That's the opposite of what he wants.

It's most likely an addon.
