I dont know if this a noob question or not, but what do you guys use for making music? I wanted to start making some EDM and I only have some experience with FL Studio, and I wanted to know what is the best.

i use fl studio, others around here use ableton.

I use FL, in my opinion it's easiest to learn. Most DAWs do the same stuff though, doesn't really matter as long as it does what you need it to do.

FL, but you shouldn't listen to me because I haven't tried anything else and I'm super-attached to just a few different synths and stuff.

Well as long as they're not FL default there's nothing bad about that (: favorites are fine, it's nice to be used to certain things (:

Alright well I noticed I had the FL Studio demo and started playing with that. I have really good ideas for songs, but my problem is that I can't find the sound I'm looking for.

Oh that happens a lot.

A lot.

Like a lot. Don't worry you'll get used to it :D

Alright, I thought there was a way to get the perfect sound all the time.

Maybe I should stray away from Harmless.

i could never figure out sytrus lol

and 3xOsc is always faithful when it comes to whitenoise :D

Sytrus is so simple omg, figure it out now, you'll be glad you did. Plus 3osc is amazing for sub basses [:
