I decided to put this up because the newest modpacks aren't really coming equipped with OptiFine, and for some users OptiFine is a must-have to play the game. This same process will work for most other mods for playing singleplayer, but remember, Never install anything to the minecraft.jar itself! TUTORIAL: 1: Get the right version of OptiFine at optifine.net For Technic/Tekkit Lite/Feed-the-beast Direwolf20 get the latest 1.4.6 version. 2: Go to your launcher folder, (%AppData%\.techniclauncher or %AppData\ftblauncher) and select the right modpack (Direwolf20, TekkitLite, TechnicSSP, etc.) Next open the \bin folder and open modpack.jar. Make sure to open modpack.jar, not minecraft.jar! Next, simply drag the contents of OptiFine into the modpack folder. Remember not to delete META-INF! Technic/Tekkit Website | FTB Website |

He could contact dropshock and have him put it in the op, so it doesnt get buried. |
