It just looked to me like your argument here was fundamentally flawed. How is "fighting him on the matter" any different from "defending yourself?" Call it what you want, if this picture is any indication, you chose to ignore him as an authority and got what was coming to you for it. (Assuming you allowed your friend to speak for you.
