How unpopular/infamous is Blockland?

I like having the small community around, but the fact is, the growth of it is pitifully slow from my viewpoint. Most aged Blockland players start mid teens, and very few live through the arduous years of abuse if they start around eight to ten years old. The game is just a little bit too big for its skin right now, and that skin is all the old players pushing against the swelling amount of newbies that are filling the nooks and crannies where the dead skin has just flaked off.

What I'm saying is, we do need a larger community because like most real life circumstances, if you're slow to innovate, evolve, or adapt, then you're most likely doomed to fail. Yes, I know, the older players of the community have come and gone and switched roles between trolls and down right wisdom givers, but innovations from the greener generation of players are overshadowing some of the coveted handiwork the old community used to share.

So, I'd like to see an influx of new players, we need a larger community for what this game is worth. But I fear though for the older generation of us, and how we'd fare in the long run once we're forgotten.

Holy stuffe, I miss Liquid and Solid, if only because my first server I played on had them hosting it in BL.

Anywho, this is why I'm a staunch supporter of BL on greenlight. It'd bring new talent and faces, nevermind the typical growing pains of mind coming along.

I think BL's current predicament was inevitable. When people keep complaining about how BL isn't as fun anymore because most of the older users left or something, I do somewhat agree with the complaints but at the same time it was bound to happen. All the old users were going to grow up and eventually leave, whether it be other interests or issues. I'm kinda surprised people like Mr. Nobody or Barnabas still play BL. Old games like this always have shifting issues of population. Even if everything was peachy in BL, old users would still eventually leave over whatever things in life. The old days of BL are gone and they were fun, but honestly, is it really that surprising that they wouldn't last forever?

The only way how I joined blockland was seeing an ad a few years ago when I was playing roblox, once I looked at blockland, I never wanted to leave it. I even spreaded it out to like 5 other people and they all like it. (I stopped playing roblox when I bought blockland)

I found out blockland by googling "games where you can build your own stuff"

cuz i was looking for a cool building game, and blockland was exactly that.

On-Topic: Greenlight, anyone?
