They said I'm immature for preferring a lego-like game over a blood curling fps, but act of the matter is, I just prefer this community more than an fps, surprisingly. I hate it though when they make fun of me for playing Blockland though, it's pretty stupid.

Are they calling you "gay" because its Lego? Personally I don't think games should be judged by their intended audience, although sometimes talking about the game in public for me feels a little odd due to it is Lego styles but I always tell people it's really easy to mod for me and that's why I use it.
Plus I don't think we get alot of people now due to Minecraft fanboys going "Hurr Minecraft copy!" whenever they see it.

*More original and new type of game than building with legos. It's concept is a lot more interesting.

I meant the sandbox genre, from gmod to roblox, to infaminer, the game minecraft was based on.

But Legos/Blockland/Roblox are all building and have lots in common. Minecraft had crafting, and infinite world, and even if it was done similarly before, it's still a lot more different than the ancient building-with-lego-blocks.
