those won't last forever, if one is going to invest $1 - 1,2k (+ the keyboard, another $200) into a gaming computer you'd probably want something that can't be upgraded at all, right?

no it doesn't it has a 2 hour battery life, it's bigger and probably weighs a ton compared to the ipad, it's not something you'd like to hold up for hours on end playing video games.
maybe the short battery life is not a con after all
they don't mention physical specs or weight anywhere, it's that bad
