Not sure. Maybe we can have Badspot remove the limit and let us actually define our limit with the config.

Although I believe that's true you shouldn't have a problem with going over it because the maps are so massive and spread out which means you won't have the whole brick limit on display all at once anyway.
EDIT: I think you can raise the brickcount using console, although I don't know the command for it. Somebody also made a mod that makes the brickcount infinite somewhere on the forums.
